In less than
"If you shut up the truth and bury it under the ground, it will but grow, and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in its way."
- French author Emile Zola
"Treason does never prosper.
What's the reason?
When it prospers,
None dare call it treason."
Sir John Harrington
J. Bartell of Cybersoup.com
A conman of the worst kind
On these pages I will share my experiences with J. Bartell, who claims to have been a former associate of Chauncey Marvin Holt.
This is not a pretty picture, but it serves to stop the man from making more victims with his scams. Anyone contemplating dealings or association with J. Bartell,
his new company www.Braintrackers.com and/or his partner Mrs. Ginger Marin should take note of the information on these pages.
On a sidenote: Note that Bartell is accepting "personal consultations" via phone or in person, but not in-office, alledgedly because of "increased demand". The truth is that he does not have a representable office. His license was canceled in 1981. Yet he lists it as "ret" as in retired on this same site at: http://braintrackers.com/company/29 appearing as if he is able to practice as a licensed therapist in good standings. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It's just another scam.
In a desperate attempt to retaliate against this webpage, Bartell has launched another slander campaign hoping to destroy my reputation. It is one of his usual tricks. He hopes to nag people enough with lies and slander in order to extort them in return for removing his slander. Just another "service" he sells. He is doing such a bad and obvious con job, up to "comments" of fictitious people all invented by himself, that I encourage everyone to have a look at his websites, so honorably and exclusively dedicated to me:
Wim Dankbaar Arrested and Jailed
Regarding these links, I refer to the special page Modus Operandi of Bartell
I was introduced to Bartell by Karyn Holt. She confirmed that Bartell was indeed an aquaintance of her late father, however she added that he was not a trusted one.
She explained that Chauncey had only a few confidants that he trusted enough to know his real name and be visitors at his home. Karyn warned me also that Bartell
tends to embellish his association with her late father.
I learned quickly from Bartell himself that indeed he had never been in Chauncey's home and had not known him by his real name, but by the alias of Kearney Siegler.
In talking about Chauncey, Bartell often referred to him as "Kearney". Initially this was confusing to me, so Bartell apologised and explained that was how he knew Chauncey. Anyway,
the big difference between them is that Chauncey had proof for virtually anything he said, while Bartell provides none.
There is an audio interview with Bartell on the website of well known and respected consumer advocate Judd MclLvain at www.troubleshooterjudd.com.
To hear it you must go there and click on the picture that looks like this:
As you can see, from this interview, Mr. Bartell is shy to give out his identity and even his voice has been distorted. This is probably to add suspense and secrecy to his colorful
stories. However, in other interviews like this one , he agreed to be plainly visible.
On a sidenote it's rather ironic that Bartell features on the website of Judd, who advises consumers how to avoid scams. On the other hand, that illustrates Bartell's skills.
Before we get into the details of the story, I would like to point out that I have filed a lawsuit complaint against Cybersoup.com, J. Bartell and Mrs. Marin for misrepresentation, fraud, embezzlement and breach of agreement. Please read it thoroughly and you will understand what the man is about.
A preliminary indication of Mr. Bartell's modus operandi and character, is how he reacts to that, namely with the establishment of this fictional and smearing website:
On top of that he keeps denying that he is the author of this website, despite the irrefutable proof for the opposite.
Anyone can trace the IP address of the owner back to ISP provider American Digital Network (telephone +1-858-576-4272) who will confirm that the IP address 126.96.36.199 is used by Cybersoup.com.
Of course that confirmation can also be obtained through a simple track utility like
Confronted with this irrefutable evidence and after interference of my attorney, Bartell has removed the defamation webpages from the website. That's why you saw an empty webpage. But here's a few backups I made:
Cybersoup page 1
Cybersoup page 2
So .... that's how Mr. Bartell and Mrs. Marin treat their investors. Plus.., I found it was not the first time they apply this practice. Read especially the decision at the end:
Based on its finding that the Respondent, J. Bartell, has engaged in abusive registration of the domain name "montyroberts.org" within the meaning of paragraph 4(a) of the Policy, the Panel orders that the domain name "montyroberts.org" be transferred to the Complainant, Monty and Pat Roberts, Inc.
Now, back to the story. In the first conversations, about three years ago, Bartell told me how much he missed Chauncey Holt and another deceased associate Micheal Harries, with whom he claimed to have performed various covert operations, assignments as Bartell calls them.
These assignments were always led by Chauncey and handed out to him by the CIA. There is probably a degree of truth in that, but the point is that Bartell cleverly capitalised on his association with Chauncey Holt and my interest in the JFK assassination.
For it didn't take long that he asked me a little favor.
Namely a financial injection into his company. He had a nice storyline that he survived the internet crash and had been working his ass off over the last 10 years. The golden mountains were just around the corner.
He said he needed a certain amount "to get over the hill". With that money he could do great things and reel in a megacontract that would take Cybersoup to a profitable position. He swore he would be able to pay it back within 4 to 6 months, and insisted to give me shares as collateral.
Of course he made me a "superdeal" on the shares and gave me the option to keep them or get my money back. So it was basically a bridge loan. A sure deal. To make a long story short, I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
Well, you feel where this is going, the contract never panned out and he could not pay me back. Nevertheless he assured me he would keep his promise, his word and integrity were his most valuable assets. He would never let a friend down.
Moreover, the outlook for his company was rosy as never before. He claimed a certified visitor count of 2 million unique people,
and Internet companies are being bought out for millions of dollars just on their visitor count, even when they lose money. There is
however a little problem that Mr. Bartell refuses to provide the certificates of his visitor count. Nevertheless, he recently assured me that the stock I have is worth 350,000 US Dollars:
Quote - How come you don't ever mention the $350,000 dollars of stock that was given to you against the loans that you were to give back when the loans were paid back.- unquote
Well, any takers for 100,000 USD for my 70,000 shares? That's a 72% discount! Then again, you will be a shareholder in a company where the management team cannot be contacted, not even to inspect the books. So you might first want to lecture yourself in filing a complaint with the SEC for security fraud.
For both Mr. Bartell and Mrs. Marin have tried their utmost to duck service of this lawsuit. In plain English, they are playing hide and seek. They have vanished from the earth, their telephonenumber 818 718 0489 has been disconnected, yet their website is still in the air. I finally served them, but anyone who can give me their legal residence or whereabouts, is most welcome.
Update from Mr Bartell: "The CyberSoup corporation was dissolved, which can be easily verified by Nevada’s Secretary of State."
Well anyway, the story of fraud and embezzlement is much longer, but you'll get the gist. I hope that before you fall for the tales of these crooks, you stumble onto this webpage. I have recieved the first thank-you notes from people that discovered this webpage in time. They told me that Mr. Bartell is still solliciting investments for Cybersoup.com. Apparently he leaves this part out from his sales pitch:
"The CyberSoup corporation was dissolved, which can be easily verified by Nevada’s Secretary of State."

Subject: Remove your lies now!!!
I will say again, the following text and pictures (you do not have permission to use) you have posted on your website are lies and you will remove them NOW!!
I have a better idea. You tell me what the lies are and I will update the page with it.
Bartell offers a ceasefire to one of his other scam victims, April Kelley, using the Christmas holidays as an excuse:

Listen, I don't have your software, the programmers were paid your money, they don't want your software. I just think it would be more productive for you and I to work on our businesses.
Every time you attack me I defend myself and Wim gets a another good laugh out of it. No one wins in this kind of business. This can do nothing but waste time. This can be nothing but bad Karma. And you know I'm right deep in your heart. So lets stop this today and get on with our lives. It's the holidays for goodness sake.

Subject: J. Bartell
Your website says it is still hosted by Cybersoup, the former company of J. Bartell. Cybersoup went bust and deceived its investors, as you must know.
I just discovered that Bartell has simply resumed the company name and re-established the website with another appearance.
Don't you think it is funny that you warn and fight against scams and cons, but have your website hosted by the biggest conman and most unscrupulous liar of them all?
After stealing 150,000.00 USD from me, dissolving Cybersoup, and claiming he has terminal cancer, which is probably another lie, he is trying to blackmail me with the offer to remove his petty website www.jamesfilesfraud.com in return for removing my webpage on him:
But I am not going succumb to blackmail and remove truth in return for removing lies. On the contrary, I will soon expand the Bartell con story, including his scam on the story of 2 JFK assassins and their "secret package", including his ambassadors of non existent countries designed to defraud investors, and including your relationship with him and your questionable condoning of his lies and deceit, actually allowing him to use your career and reputation to advance his cons and make more victims.
Bartell may not have anything left to lose, but this may be different for you. Maybe you can take away my doubts on your standards and talk the sense into him to remove that libelous website so that I don't need to counter with a new website nor waste further legal costs on this crook.

I had a remarkable talk with April Kelley. Very interesting new info for my new website on Bartell the conman. The man needs to be stopped. You referred her to Bartell?
April also told me she is waiting on an answer from you to an email she sent you. The email asks for a denial or confirmation of information that Bartell spreads about you, as if you are a partner in crime with him. I can't imagine that's true. If I were you, I would answer that email soon.
